is there a "hold " function in sample editor?
is there a "hold " function in sample editor?
after i assign a single sample to a key (Electro 3), is there a function in Sample Editor to Hold (keep playing the sample) , or do i need to use the sustain pedal ?
the sample in question is the drum machine/ sequencer intro to "Eminence Front" by the Who, up until the drums come in.
thank you !

Set a loop point in that rhythm sample, so then while the note is kept pressed down (or with the sustain pedal) the sample repeats. I suppose that the samples in the electro work in the same way as in the stage 2?

I think the OP wants to use the note as a trigger for a long sample - hit the key once and have a long sample play until it's finished?

as far as i can tell, there is no Hold function in Sample Editor. one way to accomplish this is with a toggle footswitch in the Nord's Sustain pedal jack. kind of a pain to change out in the middle of a gig though.
i'll just hold the regular Sustain pedal down for the duration of the clip.
thanks for your responses!

No hold parameter inside the sample generated in NSE.
But there is a "Hold" button on the Stage, don"t know about the Electro.
