Thanks, if you could help me:)

For my Nord Stage 2 I need the following sound setups (dont have to be super in detail, but just powerful synths in general):

- Alex Clare - Too close
- Usher - DJ got us falling in love again
- Icona Pop - I love it
- Rhianna - Please don´t stop the music
- Swedish House Mafia - Don´t you worry child
- Maneater
- Let me think about it
- I came for you

If you can help with ANY of these, I would be super thankful!

Even if it´s just a few super power synths from today´s sound era, dubstepish to TAP or something, would be nice!

maybe you found some of these sounds before here in the forum, i didnt:/

Thanks! Maz :)

No, the *Nord* site, here:
http://www.nordkeyboards.com/main.asp?t ... le_Library

It is unlikely that sounds will be sorted by song title (except maybe the odd case), so you will need to spend some time listening to the various samples.

Hi!

I had the same problem with you before and what i did, which may help you in this case, was that i find the right sound using softsynths and sample it using the Nord Sample Editor. It requires certain amount of works but definitely easier than working from scratch using Nord's existing sample library, not that its no good but not all the sound suits your need right away.

I have been programming for years and have owned Roland, Korg, Yamaha, etc. All keyboards require programming in order to emulate the songs used in Top 40 production. Sure, there are many sounds that have been used on records over the years that were identifiable as presets in certain instruments, but those are a small minority.

If you want to play Top 40, learning how to program your instrument, whatever it is, will present a rewarding challenge for you-

I programmed some for my NS2. I'll try to upload them as soon as I get a minute.

Did Gsaientz ever actually upload them? And, where to? I'm a beginner in all respects but bought the Nord because I figured it'd be something I could grow into. I've shown promise, so my new band is letting me play little runs with them out at gigs. They wanted me to learn guitar, so they got me a great pedal with on-line support for making song-specific sounds.... is there anything like that for the Nord? Or am I just trying to be lazy?

still getting an idea of what i"ve gotten myself into.

This is pretty close to what you're looking for. There's lots of food in the forums.

Be aware, though, that sound design is a MAJOR part of being a keyboard player (rather than just a pianist), and being good at it probably means that you're selling those skills to projects and not giving them away to other would-be players...with awesome exceptions of course.
