clavia nord c2d combo vs crumar mojo vs hammond sk2

Hi,

in the last few days I'm thinking to buy an electric organ, but I still can't decide which would be the best between clavia (I like very much the sound of its pipe organ and it has 2 sets of drawbars), hammond (more voices, but I heard that they aren't sturdy) and crumar (made in Italy so for me not difficult to order from Crumar).
I watched some demos, but anybody that owns one of them can, please, tell me the pros and the cons? Thank you!

I own a Mojo, and a Hammond SK1. There is nothing between them as far as build quality goes. The Mojo sounds slightly better, but there is very little in it. There are more sounds available in the Hammond, including a good pipe organ. However, the Mojo has two sets of drawbars, and is a LOT cheaper than the Nord. I have never played the Nord, but I have heard it. The percussion, chorus and keyclick is not as good on the Nord compared to the other two (at least to my ears), but you do get four sets of drawbars.

Overall, I would pick the Mojo, unless I really needed the extra voices, in which case I would get the SK2. The C2D is too expensive, with no real advantages over the other two, except if you want the extra drawbars.

Summing it up, the Hammond and Leslie emulations are great in all three products, it's not the main discriminating criteria.
The Mojo has two sets of drawbars, a couple of extra sounds and is the cheapest of the lot.
The SK2 has lots of extra voices but only one set of drawbars (a bit limiting for a dedicated organ).
The C2D has the full 4 sets of drawbars bur no extra voices, and it's REALLY expensive.

Unless you want to play 100% organ (and/or have extra keyboards for piano-other sounds), I too think the Mojo is the best compromise.

my experience: I own a C2, so no physical drawbars, only drawbuttons. Anyway, I think two sets of drawbars(buttons) is the minimum, I previously owned an Electro 4D and I was quite unconfortable with having to hit a button every time I had to switch from upper-lower manual drawbars. And it's quite easy to get confused too, in the heat of playing.
For me, the single set of drawbars is the main problem with the SK2.

The Nord sounds GREAT to my ears, but to be honest I never tested the Hammond and Mojo.
But I think it's really a matter of personal tastes, nowadays all top-level organ emulations sound excellent, and won't disappoint you or your audience.

Very happy Mojo owner here....we are looking forward for the next update, which will probably make the leslie sim even better. The EPs on board are good too.
But I also love my Nord Electro 3, that's why I am still here. I know there are a lot of people who favor one of the other two organ models, they all sound convincent enough imho.
