The Nord website's samples aren't enough for you? However, i found some pages:
- http://leisureland.us/audio/MellotronSa ... amples.htm
The sounds in ZIP files are:
M300A (2 violins)
M300B (solo violin)
Woodwinds 2 (appears to be flute, bassoon, oboe, piccolo, French horn and clarinet, all a bit out of tune with each other).
The archives contain wave files, so you have to map and loop them with the nord sample editor to make the .nsmp file usable in your Nord gear.

hello !
thanx for this links.
I love Nord's Website's sample, but in fact I former had a Kurzweil PC3 synth.
this synth had some great Mellotron sounds, especially a patch called "Octave Tron", and i can't get the same sound with the Nord's Mellotron Samples.
If you want to listen to PC3 Mellotron sounds :
PS : sorry for my bad english :)

Hello All,
Special thanks to qwert for finding these public domain Mellotron samples.
I thought that I'd put them to good use and do a Strings / Flute split for one of my old standbys
Nights in White Satin.
BTW,
I didn't set a loop point for the strings. Like the real Mellotron, after 8 seconds your tape will stop with some artifact.

Hello YvesEchoes,
let me know if the strings part is close to what you're looking for, or how it should be be different.
I can do a Mellotron sample set with just strings "no flute".
Cheers, Hanon

hi !
I'm back from Hollydays, so I tried your ample, congratulation it sounds great
Actually I'm looking for a quiet low sound of Mellotron, something sounding like the begining of this video :
If you're able to do that, I'll send you a bottle of wine
Yves.
