Yamaha Motif Hybrid Brass Sample

Hello All,
{edit: don't be afraid to give me some feedback on these, there are a lot of posts complaining about not enough brass samples, if this one doesn't get it, then tell me how it can be different and I'll do some more}

Here is a patch from my Yamaha Motif-Rack.
PRE4:087 Hybrid Brass
All effects have been turned off in the Yamaha and it was sampled starting at C note 14, then every augmented fourth.
"Diabolus in Musica" No significance there, just a little music class.

The demo is played using the NE3 with a little of it's chorus and reverb.

Thanks, Hanon. I will definitely try this on my NS2. "Hybrid Brass Swell" is one patch that I really miss on my old Motif XS rack. Your sample doesn't really nail the sound I remember, but I'm listening to it on my computer. I'll wait to pass judgement until I load it onto my NS2. My initial impression, however, is that your sampled patch has more 'noise' and less swell. I remember a cleaner sound. Too bad that I sold that module! Then I could do a direct comparison.
Anyway, thanks Hanon for never giving up. I already use several of your brass programs.

The Hybrid Brass patch didn't really sound punchy enough on my NS2. The best brass program I've been able to put together (for my R&B band) is a layer of 2 of Hanon's samples: SFZ_Brass and Mariachi_Brass. I had to drop the latter sound by 2 octaves. So far that's the best brass sound I can get out of the NS2. It's workable, but can't really compete with brass patches I've constructed on either Korg synths (Karma and M50) or a Yamaha Motif XS module.
