Fixed velocity for synth sounds on Nord Stage 4?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to achieve a fixed velocity for a synth sound on my Nord Stage 4, specifically when using a guitar sample with an arpeggiator (though the arpeggiator might not be relevant here).

The goal is to have a constant volume, regardless of how hard I hit the keys. Ideally, I’d love to control two different fixed velocity levels using the Nord Triple Pedal.

I know a compressor isn’t the right solution in this case.

Is there a way to set a fixed velocity for synth sounds on the NS4? If so, how can I do it?

solution is very simple, you have to disable (set to Off or 0) any velocity based modulation in that synth patch (read carefully the NS4 manual, Synth chapter, to learn all the velocity related parameters...)

Hello, and welcome to the Forum! On the Stage 4 you need to disable the dynamics of the sample, as simply changing the attack of the filter and amp won't undo the dynamics built into a sample. Cheers!
