Even if the NP5 has got a powerful UNISON mode in the synth engine, pitch bend is apparently not supported.
I couldn't find any corresponding midi information in the operating instructions for this either.
Hi Wolfgang, unfortunately you are right, MIDI PB receiving for the Synth Section, from an external MIDI source, has been implemented on latest Nord Electros (since NE5, but with OS updates, it wasn't originally) but never extended to Nord Pianos, so also NP5 at the moment does not support it. Difficult to predict if Nord will change this in the future (which would be desirable, I agree, as well as some more MIDI channeling functions to take advantage of the 4 sections available on NP5, to assign one or more or them to external MIDI)
Cheers (to you and the beautiful Vienna)

Thank you very much MAXPIANO for your quick and detailed answer and the confirmation that the Nord Piano 5 does not currently support pitch bend and is limited in its midi options compared to the Nord Electro.
Let's hope that something will change in this regard with further OS updates.
( You can see MAXPIANO, sometimes as non English Nativer Speaker, I’m able to find out something out from the english manual - Cheers - )

This is patently false.
I owned an NP 4 and was able to use the pitch wheel of a second keyboard for ANY patch on the NP 4. I also have confirmation from Sweetwater that the NP5 has the same capability.

Good to know, however it is quite strange that it is not indicated on the respective manuals then and neither in NP4 OS updates history, at least I couldn't find it.
PS: I guess you can do this sending PB on the only MIDI Global Channel, since NP4/5 don't support separate channels per section or split, so this means that PB would affect all active sections, not just the one in Unison (see OP initial question)?

Yes, you could do that, however, I was able to do this by simply hooking up the second MIDI keyboard to the NP4 with two 5pin DIN cables. I did not configure anything in either keyboard.

Yes, with just one channel, you can't be selective by channel. Though it's possible that the piano engines won't respond to pitch bend.
Realistically, if your left hand is operating a pitch bend device, I'm not sure how many people really need to play two right hand synth sounds such that one will bend and one will not. Sure, it could be useful sometimes, but we're still talking about a Nord PIano here, not some board where you expect tons of synth flexibility.

So unfortunately I did not manage to get the NP5 Pitch Bend to process information! As an example, I enclosed a small audio file with this post, in which a sequence from the internal Cubase piano was played on the iPad, the second time the sequence was output via USB Midi to the NP5, whereby the NP5 did not reproduce the pitch bend information. The example was tested once with the midi channel 1 and the midi channel ALL!
