I bought a used Nord and didn't realize until recently that it may have been exposed to cigarette smoke. I noticed compared to my Yamaha electric piano that the keys almost have a yellowish tint. There's no overbearing smell or anything, however I do notice that when I spend time in the same room, I start feeling an allergic reactions. My wife yesterday said she thought she smelled a waft of cigarette smoke when she walked into the room. When you stick your nose close to the keyboard there's no obvious smell.
Additionally, I noticed a few of the buttons are a little jumpy. For example, one of the octave buttons jumps from 0 to 2 sometimes. Sometimes it behaves normally. If I keep the keyboard, is there a quick fix for this like using a contact cleaner?
Here's the photo next to my Yamaha. Perhaps it's supposed to have a slightly off white color or maybe it could even be from exposure to sun?
Was this Nord exposed to cigarette smoke?

The slight yellow tint on the keys is normal.
My Electro 6D, bought new, has this tint like my previous Electro 5D also bought new.

Hi,
If you know how disassemble and re-assemble your keyboard, then try these:

This is normal. My Stage 3 keyboard has the same slightly yellow tint since I purchased it new.
