Equalizer / Mini mixer
Hi, I have Yamaha DXR12 Speaker Amp, since It doesn't have EQs, I need Equilazer to tweak Piano sounds which don't sound so great outputed directly from Piano 5. When I lower bass to minimum on Piano 5 equilazer, it's still sometimes to deep on lower octaves. Can you recommend Equilazer or maybe mini mixer?

I would start first with the onboard equalizer on the NP5...it should do what you need without needing to add another piece of outboard gear. In my decades of playing electronic keyboards, I've never once found the need for an outboard EQ and a lot of this time was prior to instruments like current Nords having really good EQ built into them.

Re: Equalizer / Mini mixer
I have totally different monitor boxes (8'' QSCs); but I learned that using them as floor wedges, the bass gets too much and makes the sound muddy. Putting the boxes on a stand makes them sound much nicer.
So, placement may play a big role. Same with the distance (1-2 m apart) and the size of the room - they all may matter. What do you want to use them for?
I'd try to get those things sorted out before trying to EQ even more.

Re: Equalizer / Mini mixer
Is a 3 band eq good enough or do you want more than 3 frequencies? A lot of analog mixers have low, mid, hi, but if you want more, there might be some more expensive digital options...
