Update sound manager and drivers, NS3 not recognized
Update sound manager and drivers, NS3 not recognized
A week ago i updated my stage 3 OS to 2.64 and was told onscreen that I had to download a new clavia driver and I also now had to update sound manager to 9.12 and sample editor to 4.32 because the old versions won't work with the new drivers. This was done on my desktop computer. I did all that and now nothng happens when I plug the Nord into usb. Neither program will recognize it. I tried using the older sound manager version 7.82 but still nothing. It DOES still work on my laptop computer, where I didn't update anything. Any ideas? I messaged Nord support a week ago and they still have not responded.

Re: Update sound manager and drivers, NS3 not recognized
I would suggest trying an older version of Nord Sound Manager and see how that does. Perhaps the version you have on your laptop?

All is working now. I was apparently launching the old version of sound manager which won't work with the new drivers, instead of the new version. I thought the install would put a new icon on the desktop, but it went into the start menu instead. Figured that out when I uninstalled it and went to reinstall it. Thanks!

That's good, I thought perhaps there was a bug with the latest version being so new. Thanks for the update.BobbyP wrote: ↑22 Mar 2025, 07:19 All is working now.
