How to sync Boss DB-90 to Nord Stage 4 internal master clock?

Hi,
I want to sync my Boss DB-90 metronome to the internal tempo of my Nord Stage 4.
I connected a MIDI cable from MIDI OUT on the Nord to MIDI IN on the DB-90. The DB-90 is set to Midi, so it's receiving signal – but it doesn't start ticking.

I believe the DB-90 needs a MIDI Start message to begin playback, not just MIDI Clock.
However, I can't find any setting on the Nord to send MIDI Start when I activate the arpeggiator or other clock-based features.

Does anyone know how to make the Nord send MIDI Start along with the internal clock?

The Nord will only receive MIDI clock. It cannot transmit, unfortunately.
